Kayden Sean’s Story

As told by his mother, Laura.

Kayden Sean Dunn was born 28/04/15 and lived for nearly 30 minutes. I was told at my 21 week scan that he probably would not make it. I still had hope as he was my first baby. He had a kidney full of multi cysts.

Every night I felt him kick inside me. He let me know he was there anyway. I loved the feeling. It couldn’t have been any better. I talked to him every day and every night, because I knew itĀ could be the last time he ever heard me. I was told I could go into labour at any stage of the pregnancy, so I went at 30 weeks. It was so scary. I didn’t know what I was in for. I kept saying “No, it’s too early for him to arrive.” Little did I know it wasn’t.

Kayden was ready to fly with the angels, although he stayed with us for 30 minutes. It was the best 30 minutes of my life by far.

Mummy and Daddy love you lots, little man!
