Meet Lexi

I’m a writer + photographer based out of North Central Florida.

I’m a comfy clothes loving, coffee sipping, Mexican food obsessed single mom to a silly three-year-old who thinks he is Spiderman. Most days you can find me writing about life, loss, and love (inspired by my little boy Charlie who passed away when he was six months old), directing communications, obsessively taking pictures,¬†or sitting at home in sweatpants with my favorite people.

People often refer to me as driven and passionate, and they’re not wrong. I am passionate about moments, about memories, about preserving the emotions and heart in each situation– because I know the truth– that these moments are fleeting and each moment possesses immeasurable worth (even the seemingly ordinary/mundane/unpolished ones).

The more life I live, the more I am learning that we all are a little broken. We’re all a little bruised, and we all have our own stories, burdens, and experiences. And the more I live, the more I learn that it’s often those things that can make us the richest and truest forms of ourselves. It’s the sufferers who have learned to rise after intense brokenness who are the most beautiful people I have met in this life. It’s the ones who know despair and have channeled it into strength and purpose.

This site started as a little personal blog, a space to tell the stories¬†about my little Charlie after he passed away on October 27, 2014. What this space has turned in to is so much more. This is a place to lead each other to the light. It’s a place to reach out, grab the hands of another, and to stand, together, as a collective whole, doing life the way that we are meant to: together.

If you’re reading this, something, somewhere caught your eye or gripped your heart.

I hope you know this:

You have value. You have worth. You are enough.

No matter how dark your story may feel, no matter what you have faced, no matter where you’ve been, you’re never too deep in the darkness to find your way to the light. I promise. I’m going to use this space to point you back to it with every post.

With all of that said, I’d love to meet you.

Sending you so much love. <3

Lexi
